Screen Printing in Staten Island
When you need the same design on a lot of shirts, screen printing is still the best tool for the job. It lays down more ink than any digital method, the colors stay bright through years of washing, and the more pieces you run the less each one costs.
We run screen printing through a print partner we trust, and we manage the whole job from here in Staten Island: the artwork, the proof, the garment choice, the quality check and the pickup. You deal with one local shop from start to finish.
What screen printing is good at
- Volume. The setup work happens once. Past a couple of dozen pieces, screen printing pulls ahead of every digital method on price.
- Solid, bright color. Thick ink on fabric, including on dark garments.
- Durability. A properly cured screen print outlasts the shirt. It's what you want on a uniform somebody wears twice a week.
- Specialty inks. Metallics, high-density, puff, glow and soft-hand water-based prints.
When we'll tell you to use something else
We'd rather send you to the right method than sell you the wrong one.
- Small runs. Under a dozen pieces, the setup usually isn't worth it. DTF, which we print in-house, is normally the better answer.
- Lots of colors or photographic artwork. Every color is a separate screen. Past a few colors, DTF or embroidery is usually smarter.
- Every piece different. Names, numbers and individual personalization are DTF or embroidery work.
- Hats and structured items. Curved surfaces don't take a flat screen. Embroidery is the answer there.

Artwork
Vector files are ideal: .ai, .eps or a high-resolution .pdf. If all you have is a photo of an old shirt or a logo off a website, send it anyway. We'll tell you honestly whether it can be printed as-is or needs cleaning up first. You approve a proof before anything is printed.

- We quote it. A real number, including the garment, the print and any setup.
- You approve the proof. You see exactly what will be printed, where, and at what size.
- We print it. Through our print partner, checked by us before it leaves.
- You pick it up or we ship it. Free Staten Island pickup, or $8.95 flat shipping, free over $75.
